Lotto betting launch a hot ‘Tipp’ to succeed

Securing a high-profile brand ambassador in the strapping shape of Sean O’Brien gives Tipp24 a competitive edge in the Irish market.

Earlier this year we won a competitive pitch to handle the Irish launch of, the online lotto betting brand that has enjoyed considerable success since its foundation in 1999.

€1.3 billion prize money paid out

Never heard of Tipp24? You will. The company already has around 2.4 million customers and pays out up to 100,000 winners every week – in fact, Tipp24 has paid out prize money to the value of €1.3 BILLION since 1999.

Our pitch was based on the idea of recruiting a high-profile rugby international, and getting the player in question to do a lotto ‘quick pick’ (with a difference) to highlight the fun element of online lotto betting.

And who’s more high-profile than Sean O’Brien? The Leinster and Ireland stalwart is having another stellar season for club and country, one that will hopefully lead to a call-up to this summer’s British & Irish Lions tour of New Zealand.

‘Sean’s Quick Pick’

Having snapped up our brand ambassador, we spent a delightful Friday evening down in Tullow RFC, getting Sean to do what he does best – smashing guys into the turf! You can take a look at the video here, watch out for the ‘squelch’ as the lads hit the deck.

So what does actually do? The site gives Irish users an opportunity to bet on lotteries around the world – e.g. the EuroMillions draw – while the company guarantees to match the prize amounts and jackpots in those draws.

It’s super-easy to register and play, as well as offering comprehensive safety and security for all users.

“Irish people are among the most enthusiastic and prolific lottery players anywhere in Europe, which is why Tipp24 is so excited to launch here,” says Tipp24’s Ireland Country Manager, Allan Turner. “We’re absolutely delighted to be in Ireland and I can’t wait for people to try out the website and see for themselves how exciting it is to play and win.”

Tipp24’s CSR track record

Along with the launch of the new site, is developing a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme and is currently in discussions with potential Irish partners.

“We already run a successful and established CSR programme in the UK and are very excited to be able to do the same in Ireland,” says Allan Turner. “Being a good corporate citizen is very important to us a business and we are looking forward to making an announcement about our Irish plans soon.”

A solid foundation in CSR can only be a good thing for the brand, and we look forward to working with as it goes from strength to strength here in Ireland. Good luck guys!
